To promote the 2017-18 season, the San Jose Sharks got Hertl and Demelo to make a commercial of themselves heckling their elementary school bus driver. A year later, the Sharks announced a bobblehead of the two sitting on the bus together. Then Demelo was traded to the Senators for Erik Karlsson. The Sharks changed the bobblehead to Hertl sitting on the bus
