Taillon suffered a forearm injury in a game on May 1, which was the last he played that season. He later needed surgery to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in the elbow, otherwise known as Tommy John surgery, so he missed his giveaway which features him dressed as "Obi-Wan Taillon" after Obi-Wan Kenobi, a Jedi Master in the Star Wars franchise, for "Star Wars Night"
