Brooks-Moon began her career in radio when she joined "The Morning Zoo" on KMEL in 1986. In 2000 she became the second full-time female PA announcer in history when she joined the Giants. The Hall of Fame recognized her as the first female announcer of a championship game in any professional sport for her role in the 2002 World Series
