Fun Fact

O'Neill played for, and later managed, the Kansas City Monarchs, the longest-running franchise in the history of baseball's Negro leagues. He made two appearances in the East-West All-Star Game while winning the Negro League World Series in 1942. He served as a scout for the Royals, sitting in the same seat behind home plate at Kauffman Stadium which this bobblehead honors
