Killebrew played all but one season with the Twins franchise, beginning his career with them when they were located in Washington D.C. as the Senators. He made 13 All-Star Games and won the AL MVP in 1969. The Twins retired his jersey in 1975 and he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984
